The Catalonia Roma Hotel is housed in a slender, modern 7-storey property with a glass-covered entrance. The lobby is stylishly appointed with marble floors, white walls and a stained glass dome directly above the reception desk. All the fittings are wood varnished to maintain their original beauty and elegance. The 49 guestrooms vary in size due to the age of the building and are individually decorated, some being traditional while others are more modern. None the less, all are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms, which feature black and white marble with gothic style tiling. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the small, brightly painted breakfast room, which is located on the ground. There’s also a restaurant with an extension to the garden, which serves both international cuisine and regional specialities. It is pleasantly appointed with soft coloured marbled floors and solid wood furniture.
