The Covadonga Hotel is housed in a classical building, which dates from the turn of the 20th century. The arched doorway is in keeping with the monumental solid stone façade and is flanked by high quality shops. Well lit from within the false ceiling and stylishly decorated, the medium sized lobby area adjoins a cafeteria and a comfortable seating area. The 85 guestrooms are spacious with tiled floors and plain walls and feature attractive night lamps. Though rather austere in design, they are well maintained and equipped with a good range of facilities. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming L-shaped restaurant, which is located on the lower ground floor. There’s also a small bar with mirrored wall and white chairs.
