Offering far more competitive rates than other 4-stars in Barcelona, the Gran Derby may not be right in the city centre, but it is very handy for the Nou Camp and the nearby metro station (Hospital Clinic) offers quick and easy access to the main tourist sights. It also boasts spacious rooms and notably helpful staff.

Contemporary and sleek, the Gran Derby Hotel is ideal for families, since it's composed entirely of suites and duplexes with sitting rooms. The 29 rooms are decorated in an understated modern style. They are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. Guests can dine at the nearby Derby Hotel, which is part of the same group. Here the "Epsom Restaurant", decorated with Miró lithographies, serves fresh Mediterranean cuisine.
